Coastal Trails & Lookouts

Peterborough – Bay of Martyrs Trail

A wonderful cliff top trail from Peterborough Golf Course, through Halladale Point where you can view where the Falls of Halladale was wrecked.

Along to the Bay of Martyrs car park which provides access to some spectacular beaches and coves, a favourite local dusk and dawn haunt. Visitors can leave their car in town or in the Bay of Martyrs car park. Car parks between these two venues are small and have narrow rough access tracks. Please stick to the formal tracks to access beaches along the trail.

Length: 4 km return

Time: allow 2 hours if accessing the trail and beaches along the trail
