About

Beach & Forest was born in a melting pot of various passions: Nature, cooking, travel, art, and the hands on craft of working with metal and timber.

Along the journey, Maria has been lucky enough to work with many masters of trades. Being inspired and pushed to constantly challenge herself, which has led her down the path of forming B&F.

To hold something in your hand which has been carefully crafted with love, detail, and purpose, is becoming a rarity in these modern times. Maria’s goal with Beach & Forest is to have this tradition live on.

It is with that inspiration she decided to make tools that were not only nice to look at, but that have a purpose and inspire folks to appreciate all the little things you take for granted in our day to day.

All Beach & Forest products are made in Maria’s home workshop – located in the hidden gem of Curdievale – Girai Wurrung country – Victoria.

Feel free to get in touch if you would like to visit. Come spend a day learning one-on-one the art of blacksmithing, and take home your very own hand-forged creations.

You will get to experience shaping steel with hammer and fire, as well as learn a bit about the forge, anvil, tools and techniques used in blacksmithing.
