Stargazers of the 12 Apostles Coastline

First time stargazers, amateur astronomers and confident cosmologists alike can all explore the wonders of our southern skies with free rental of our 8 inch diameter Newtonian reflector telescope!

While we have reintroduced all other activities telescope loan remains suspended until we can ensure that a COVID safe cleaning procedure can be applied without damaging telescope components.

First time users will be able to easily view craters on the moon and depending on the time of the year (and with a little bit of persistence) may be able to view Saturn, Jupiter and its moons. Instructions and star guides will be provided.

Set some time aside to look up and explore the above with your family!

Call into the Port Campbell Visitor Information Centre to arrange free rental.

Please note that we have introduced COVID safe cleaning procedures that allow us to continue to hire out equipment
