This run should only be attempted during an outgoing tide and swell conditions of less than 1.5m. Pavement pounders beware! Technical sections of slippery rock make gloves and trail running shoes a consideration.
Parking access to this area is 4.5km down a rough, narrow gravel road. Start the run with a view from the Gables Lookout and a fun single track descent to Wreck Beach including 366 steps.
