Boat Bay

Anybody who has ever backed a trailer needs to have a look at this ramp. Lots of offshore stacks are visible in this sheltered bay. The ramp is used by maverick fishermen providing the only ocean access for boats between Port Campbell and Warrnambool.

Don’t even think about driving down the ramp, local tow truck operators don’t appreciate the extra business and are notoriously hard to get a hold of when Boat Bay is mentioned.

Location: 4.3km west of Peterborough
Length: 300m return.
Time:    15 min
