Are you bold enough to chase, fast enough to race and clever enough to outwit the southern wind?
Use a special piece of equipment (anemometer) to explore the secrets of wind and weather on the mighty Shipwreck Coast. Look for clues to discover where the highest wind speed and coolest temperatures will be found.
Participants will learn to use an anemometer, examine the relationship of wind with the coastal landscape and log data to answer questions at day’s end.
Equipment and activity sheet are available for free rental at the Port Campbell Visitor Information Centre.
Come and hear the roar!
Please note that we have introduced COVID safe cleaning procedures that allow us to continue to hire out equipment
