I think I can!

This is an adventure race you are expected to be self sufficient with your food and water intake. There will be no drink or aid stations on course. Some water will be available in the main transition/start/finish area. Participants should consider hydration packs or water bottles on kayak, run and MTB legs.

You are going to burn some energy and you will need to replace it. Participants competing in all 4 legs will need to carefully consider their fluid and food intake throughout the event.

IF HUGH CAN YOU CAN!

This event is about inspiring and being inspired. We are inspired by Hugh Worrall let him inspire you.

Hugh competed in last years event when his son said he should. Generally we admire parents that listen to their children. Unless that child then loans his dad a mountain bike without suspension and sends him straight up the side of a hill.

Hugh commented at the end of his ride. I lost my glasses, I lost my water bottle and I almost lost my lunch! Guess what? Hugh will be back this year to have another crack, hopefully on a bike with at least front suspension! This year we are going to give him a Torq gel with guarana so he will be kicking up plenty of dirt on the trail.

Remember this years spectator might just be next year's competitor! Come along and cheer until the last person crosses the line, be inspired and plan your own piece of Princetown glory next year.

All the legs in this event are achievable with some training and preparation. C'mon and "give it a go!"

Swim 1km, Mountain Bike 18km, paddle 5.7km and Trail Run 7.0km.

Contact your GP for a checkup before starting out on any training program. Contact a mental health professional and your GP if you are considering doing this event without any preparation.
