Lake Corangamite is 3 times saltier than sea water and hosts an array of migratory water birds in spring and summer.

From Red Rock lookout 7 crater lakes are visible and there are close to 40 seperate eruption points in the Red Rock complex. Toilets, playground and BBQ facilities are available 500m before the lookout
